What cleaners should I use on refinished surfaces?

Do refinished tubs look painted?
The deep gloss of a Bordeauxs Custom Coating refinished bathtub resembles new porcelain. In fact, most people will have a difficult time telling any difference between a new bathtub and a Bordeaux's Custom Coating refinished tub...the Bordeaux Custom Coating process is that good!
Does refinishing have an odor?
Bathtub reglazing topcoats contain solvents, which are necessary to make the finish hard and durable. We use special ventilation fans to exhaust air from the work area outside, minimizing the fresh paint like odor. 80% to 90% of the smell will be exhausted within the first 4 to 5 hours and substantially gone within a day.
How does refinishing compare to bathtub liners?
Bathtub liners are plastic covers that are fitted over damaged or old bathtubs. Their cost is at least five times as expensive as Bordeauxs Custom Coating regrazing process and can take up to 3 to 4 weeks from ordering to installation. Liners can leak between the liner and bathub which will cause molding.
How can I keep my bathtub looking new?
To keep your finish looking great for years to come, do not store soap,
shampoo, bath oil, etc. on the corner ledge or soap dish if regazed. Water is trapped
underneath and in time, this can cause the finish to discolor.
May I use a bath mat?
Yes, you can use a bathtub mat if it is weighted down or has magnets. Suction cup bathtub mats are not recommended. The Bathtub mat needs to be draped over the towel rack or side of tub after ever use.
